Sunday afternoon saw Greenhill Park packed with all the fun of a fine summer festival. In amongst the hubub the Abundance stall attracted friends old and new, to discuss the season’s plans, and to entice fresh faces to join the experience of Abundance! The kind trees of Heeley had provided a timely first mini crop of plums, so people could sample the first fruits of the season alongside some fine chutney from last year’s chutney-making sessions. We were especially pleased to hear tales of fruit trees in the local area – which were duly pin-pointed on the map – and excited to have some new faces sign up to help harvest them later in the season too. A great day all round, and we look forward to returning at harvest time and seeing many of you again!
